Register now for The Northern Rivers Lift Project!

Starting on October 8

The Northern Rivers Lift Project is being offered to support the mental health and wellbeing of communities living in flood-affected areas. It’s sponsored by ADRA and Avondale University, and supported by your Council – which means it’s FREE for individuals, families, community groups, and small businesses (10 employees or less) who live in Northern Rivers LGAs.

What is The Lift Project?

The Lift Project is a lifestyle-based wellbeing adventure that uniquely brings together scientifically-proven strategies from the exciting fields of Neuroscience, Positive Psychology and Lifestyle Medicine. The Lift Project is lifting lives around the globe by equipping individuals with the skills to take charge of their own wellbeing, build resilience, and live a happier life!

The Lift Project was developed by Dr Darren Morton (PhD, FASLM) who is an award-winning educator and researcher, and an internationally recognised wellbeing expert (with special expertise in Lifestyle Medicine).

The Lift Project is endorsed by the Australasian Society of Lifestyle Medicine, and certified by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine. Numerous studies have shown that participants experience significant improvements in their wellbeing. You can too!

How does it work?

The Lift Project is delivered online, and involves 10 lessons taken over 10 weeks. You will learn and experience evidence-based ways to feel better, live more, and take charge of your own wellbeing. To participate, all you need is an email address to register, and a computer (or other device) that can access the internet.

After you’ve registered below, we’ll send you a welcome email with more information, followed by weekly emails when the course starts, on October 8.

For best results, invite a friend, colleague or your family (The Lift Project is kid friendly!) to take this wellbeing adventure with you. Watch the weekly video together, or organise a weekly “walk and talk” to chat about what you are learning and how the challenges are going.
